During 2009, we talked about PPE collectively. We talked about how it is not a commodity; how there are vast differences in quality and performance among brands; how it can increase productivity and improve profitability; why it should be one of the ten most important products your company buys; how there are tangible and intangible components that must be considered and many other things intended to increase your knowledge level about PPE and all it can and should do to contribute to your safety program and the success of your business.
In coming posts, we will now turn to talking about specific PPE product types. We will talk about design, materials, performance, comfort, and intangibles. We will compare brands and look at the differences and the value of those differences. Our goal is to raise your level of knowledge about each product type so that you can make a better buying decision using enhanced choice criteria.
We thank you for your comments and welcome your suggestions.
